1. I think that for all of the photos except for the portrait of a girl, all of the pictures are just pulled from the artist's head without an actual reference. I think that in their mind they created the lighting because all of them do have lighting.
2. No, I do not think that photography is like painting, with painting there are so many technical and control aspects to create a good piece that looks realistic. With photography the photographer is simply creating a balanced scene and making it interactive. (the first step of photography basically.
3. The hardest recreation was The Head of a Nymph, just because it had the tool in specific spots and the lighing was really weird. It was also hard to get Sara at the right angle with the tool still looking right.
4. The easiest recreation was the Portrait of a girl because the hat was relatively easy to make and Abby was really easy to work with.
5. I did not change my mind for any of the pictures. I probably should have switched the Head of a Nymph one just because of the complications I had with it.
6. The Little School Girl was my favorite one to recreate, mostly because it was one of the first pictures I took so it was really fun and all the props worked really good. I was also really happy working with Abby again.
7. My confidence has slightly risen since working on this project. I feel like working with lighting and with the camera has gotten a lot easier but working with some of the models was challenging.
8. My strongest piece was definitely The Little School, the lighting is the best and the pose is the best with the props and everything. The worst picture was the Head of a Nymph, the tool did not work, it was too dark and the pose was wrong. It just was a bust.
9. I tried to push my abilities, working with different lighting and different poses. I also wanted to use fun props and I feel like I did well with creating a variety of different pictures with different subject matter.
